Make a Plan. Make a Difference. Then Pass It On.Will it be a thunderstorm, a flash flood, a tornado or a blizzard? It won’t matter if you are ready. September is National Preparedness Month and it is a great time to do something to be ready in case a disaster happens. Here in Colorado, 100 B. READY “guys” are traveling around the state to encourage people to take steps to be ready for natural or human-caused disasters. Watch for someone to pass B. READY on to you. And if you get him, do something to be ready for disaster and then pass him on so someone else so they can be ready too. You should make a plan and take steps to make a difference. You can make a plan by packing a 72-kit kit, making a communications plan, or making a copy of important papers. You can make a difference by signing up for a CPR class, donating blood, or getting to know your neighbors who might need help (or who can help you). Add your comments to this BLOG and share what you are doing to be ready. You’ll also find ideas about how to be ready by checking out what other B. READY guys are doing.
