What's Next for B. Ready?

Story Posted: 11/7/2007 By: B. Ready, Web site: www.readycolorado.com, City: Denver

While we haven't seen much reporting of B. Ready activity on the blog lately, you can be sure that he is still off on his adventures. Only 12 of the original 100 B. Ready guys have returned home.

We keep hearing reports of him cropping up at different activities. It seems he doesn't want to end his travels yet. As long as he is continuing to encourage Coloradans to prepare for winter weather and possible disasters, he can keep moving as long as he likes.

If you've seen him out and about, please feel free to report in.

Here is a small sampling of the journal entries we've received:

"B. Ready helped me complete my Ready Profile for our home kit. He also went shopping with me to purchase new house numbers for our home as the old ones are faded..."

Sue
San Luis Valley, CO

"B. Ready traveled to Castle Rock and taught the Delay family how to build a disaster kit to be prepared in case of disaster. What trouble will B. Ready get into next?"

The Delay Family
Castle Rock, CO

"I have already taken a CPR class, but I am going to take a refresher. I hope we never have to use this but I want to be prepared if we ever have the need. I also will have food for my pets."

Karen
Henderson, CO

"In case of an emergency, Chilito's has two fire extinguishers, plenty of dry food and water. Also we have blankets, flashlights, candles, non-prescription meds such as aspirin and tylenol, some tools, two different dining rooms that can be used for meeting rooms or shelter, if needed. One of the owners is first-aid certified and we have two cell phones. Chilito's would open the doors to the public in any emergency."

Chilito's Mexican Restaurant
Estes Park, CO

The campaign has been so successful, you can expect to see B. Ready make his travels next September as well. If you'd like to be a B. Ready Launch partner for next year, contact us and we'll add you to the travel itinerary.
