B. Ready Boogies at Carson Elementary School

Carson Elementary School was one of five schools selected to receive ready classroom kits and a Disney Radio party designed to educate students on how to be prepared.

With music, games and trivia, the students left the gym tired, but still laughing from lots of high energy fun.

Each classroom kit includes food, water, blankets, light sticks and other materials supply teachers and students for up to twelve hours.

This project is jointly sponsored by READYColorado and the North Central Region Citizen Corps Council. This was a pilot program and we hope to expand it to more schools next year.
