B. Ready learns the importance of phones and coffee cans

B. Ready #65 visited the Boulder County Sheriff's Records and Civil Divisions on September 5th.  The crew there practiced using their newly-created emergency phone tree for the Criminal Justice Center employees.

The Civil Division also found some granola bars, a blanket, a couple of bottles of water, and a coffee can for B. Ready to keep in his car.  At first, he was confused, but then they told him the story of the December blizzard of 2006.  It seems several of the girls were stuck in their cars on Highway 36 during the blizzard, some of them for as long as eight hours.  They have since created emergency car kits and they assured us that they really do all have coffee cans, too..."just in case."
